在It was nice of them to all 一句中,to call是个么意思?整个句子该怎么翻译?此句中nice是形容词,而一般情况下形容词会直接修饰后面的名词或代词,这里为什么要用of呢?

"真得感谢他们的来访/打电话。"（视语境而定）
这里用of,是因为them和kind有逻辑上的主表关系。即这么个意思(They were kind.)
再如：
It is wise of you to follow your teacher's advice.

谢谢您的指导.也就是说,这句话的主语是of them to call.就是说:they call me is very nice.是这样的吗?

实际上这句话的真正主语是to call（动词不定式短语），it只是形式主语，to call这个动作的行动者就是them；至于It is nice of sb to do...这个句型就是带有形式主语的句型，除了nice，kind, polite, friendly等形容词也适合这个句型：
It is nice/kind/polite/friendly of sb to do...
而多数形容词如important, necessary等一般都用：
It is important/necessary for sb to do...
